Oh Melbourne; with your pockets of light, bustling cafes and narrow laneways you always leave me in awe. At the moment your streets are decorated with autumn leaves and your sky is the clearest blue (sometimes a soft grey). You smell of coffee, fresh bread and sickly sweet macaroons. I don't want to leave.
What an AMAZING photo!!!! Just beautiful. Melbourne is putting on the Autumn charm at the moment, I hope the blue skies and sunshine lasts just a little longer than years past.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more of your Melbourne snapshots.
The lighting in that photo....WOW!
ReplyDeleteStunning photo. The LIGHT!!! We are planning a trip ourselves for later this year. I have never been, but already am looking forward to said macaroons.
ReplyDeleteI love that city too- I am so far away and have some very loved ones there. Jo xx
ReplyDeleteOh you are making me terribly homesick :(
ReplyDeleteMelbourne speaks to my very core, it is home and reminds me of so many different facets of my life, the good times and some bad times. Being paid nothing making coffee to get through uni, my husband and I in our earlier years, traipsing the streets and the Yarra on photojournalism assignments for uni, tram dings and grey suits, puddles and autumn leaves, the ballet with my nanna and school shoe shopping at Georges with mum.
Love you long time Miss Melbourne, I'll be home soon.
Wowsers!! That is an extraordinary photo.
ReplyDeleteI love Melbourne so much. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness what an amazing photo. It just leaves me wondering, is it moonlight or daylight? Are you a model? What are you advertising? Melbourne? Beret's ?, skincare products that make one look flawless , or the beauty of mothers who stop to enjoy the moment with their children while everyone is rushing around. ( or perhaps why only 4 year olds should wear horizontal stripes)That man of yours should quit whatever job he has and do this for a living. melx
ReplyDeleteDaylight Mel...and there were lots of smokers so there's a rather romantic haze about. I'm advertising the fact that I can adhere to the photographer's commands ;) x
DeleteSo stay! You know you want too:) xx

ReplyDeleteOh my darling dear! I just stumbled on your blog and I am completely mesmerized by your pretty little life! :) That was a super neat Melbourne shot, makes me want to go places with my camera!
ReplyDeleteExtraordinary photo. I did a photography course once and the teacher said there are three things you need to know about photography: Love, Lens and Light I think this photo definitely has those elements covered. From Daniel's photo I went over to look at his site for the first time and was immersed in the films, my 2 year old sons favorite is 'the skateboard one' he asked me to play it over and over. My favorite was the 5 Lands Walk. Glad you are enjoying all there is to love about Melbourne.
ReplyDeleteOh so glad you're enjoying!
