apple town

This film so accurately captures the light and ambiance of that morning in Michelle's kitchen. I love its lyrical quality; its sense of nostalgia.

I love that Daniel can tell a beautiful story with his camera.

Oh my, I would love to travel to your country

  22. Oh wow! Two of my favourite and most inspiring bloggers together. Thank you Daniel for your lovely film. I love that a visit to your blog Jodi and to Michelle's blog will always leave a positive and uplifting feeling. Michelle's kitchen is wonderfully lit and alive, which you see in her photos but Daniel's clip gives it a pulse. Oh and those preserves and bread- must have been delightful. xx

  27. i watched this video last night with my boys (just because they were next to me at the time i hit play) and they wanted to view it over and over again. i went to bed thinking what did they see that was so interesting to them. then in the morning tate asked to make jam...ah. i do hope you share this with daniel cause i think that is the best compliment...to have inspired a little one.

also, i think the two of you have such an great artistic partnership and it lovely to watch from here.

  31. Wow what a kitchen! Sweet sweet film beautifully matched with the song. And yes oh to be so neat making jam. A combination of Daniel's camera work and Michelle's ease in the kitchen made the whole creation of the jam look so effortless. I loved too seeing the young girl at the stove so casually stirring the bubbling jam. Lovely post thank you.
