"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012."
Che: With practice, comes confidence. "I want to ride my bike every day, always."
Poet: Why am I not surprised that her favourite room in the house is the one room where she isn't supposed to be. I gasped in horror during the week as I heard, for the first time: "Mum, Poet's in my room! Get out of my room Poe!" Oh dear, it's begun.
oh smile. smile.
ReplyDeleteLove. Xx

I have recently found your blog thru Hugo & Elsa. Love the words you wrote about your visit to Michele's place...the feeling you created with your words was so strong, that i just wished i too was there to smell, taste & take notes on how to produce such beautiful heart-warming food.
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to say you are doing such a special photo journal of your children.....our 2 children are young adults now, and oh how i wish that i had taken more photos of their journey thru childhood, as one seems to blink and they are all grown-up. Jenny (Melbourne)
Beautiful! Let the fun and games begin :) x
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Jodi. Hope you had a beautiful weekend x
ReplyDeleteHaha! Cute story - I was ALWAYS getting kicked out of sisters rooms!
ReplyDeleteHa Che sounds like Oli. "Elke keeps losing all my trains", "Elke broke my Lego ship", "Elke ripped my..." you get the idea! But never fear. They do also play very sweetly together. The joys of siblings ; )
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures, such beautiful children. Ah, the joys of being little sister : ) xx
ReplyDeleteThe spotty helmet is incredibly cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd I also meant to add, we have put a gate on Ronan's door so he can setup his trains and special toys in his room and play without the door shut, and without little hands of destruction...it has been a life saver!
DeleteOh she is sooo cheeky already! Good luck with that feisty little creature. And otherwise completely normal and same going on in numerous houses all over the place. Still going on daily at our place for a good 2 years or so. melx
ReplyDeleteYour two, so incredibly adorable! That picture of Poet is priceless :)
ReplyDeleteYour children are divine. I love your weekly photos of them. xx
ReplyDeleteChe's got the spots! And the stripes, by the looks of things. Poet looks divinely cheeky. Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteI hear the same at home. I have 2kids : daughter 4years old and son 19months and the baby is always in his sister's room ... And she calls him "destructor" ha ;) but anyway they love each other and also play together most of the time, don't worry
ReplyDeleteYay for sunny days and bike rides! :)
ReplyDeleteS.
Oh your children are the sweetest! Sofia is always somewhere she shouldn't be. We have her toys all laid out nicely for her to play with, yet she'll still go to the cupboard and pull out the pots and pans. ;) Beautiful portraits! x :)
