28

At 5.43 this morning my little boy stroked my cheek and wished me a happy birthday. He snuggled up beside me, his cold limbs curled into my warmth and we lay there dozing for a few minutes before his little sister woke. And then, after birthday kisses and cuddles, Daniel took them both out of the bedroom, closed the door, and gave me the best birthday present ever - a sleep in.

Perhaps life is so rich when you have children, because it's the little things that mean so much.

I'm 28 today. Life is wonderful.

Tim and Kesh came to visit and we went wandering around the gardens. Tim took photos, Kesh made my children laugh
