"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012."
Che: Tree-climbing elf.
Poet: She rumbles and tumbles but rarely does she cry.
I'm a little overwhelmed by your enthusiasm for this project. Thank you! And of course I'll keep posting. For those that asked...yes, these photos and captions will become a book at the end of the year. Tamara and Lou have jumped on-board too. So should you!
Poets facial features just keep getting more and more lush as the weeks go by! And Che... such a curious, impish fellow! x
ReplyDeleteChe is getting bigger every day Jodi, so adventurous. Poet really does seem like an old soul to me, those eyes hold sweet wisdom beyond her nearly mere year x
ReplyDeleteDaniel and I think Che is the old soul. Poet seems brand new - she's always so shocked by everything...wide-eyed and expressive. x
Deleteamazing... the differences between siblings...it continually spins my head! gorgeous pics as always. thanks for continuing.
DeleteHe he, she is so cherubic. I loved your post on Che describing how it was between you two before Poet, can see what you mean.
DeletePerfect.
ReplyDeleteA book? That is a spectacular idea!
A book, what a beautiful idea! X
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet Jodi I do enjoy seeing the different expressions of your two little ones each week. I do love this idea and wished I had known to do something like this when my two were little. I wonder if my two would be keen even if they are big now..... xx
ReplyDeleteThe elf is ADORBS!
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful two. x
it's a gorgeous project, and the book will be perfect. my photobooks are my favourite posession. I think I might have to join in with you- winter is always the beginning for me, not the middle, so now seems a good time! :)sarah

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your continuing this project, I forgot to say when you asked!
ReplyDeleteI think Che is an old soul. There's something so wise about his face. And Poet - definitely a newbie. Maybe that's why our little penpals seem so similar. We say the same about Phiney. She's so surprised and shocked by everything she sees. So amazed by the world.
ReplyDeleteThat and the big ol' eyes and cheeks ;) xx
ps. So glad you're continuing this series. It's lovely, and in years to come you'll cherish this collection so much x
