Those curls! Oh my goodness they are so sweet!
Those are curls are delicious. And I LOVE Che's face paint....that is awesome! Is Poet out of a cot? Loving the bunting I can see in the mirror reflection. Happy Sunday Jodi.x
Poet never slept in a cot...she's been cosleeping with us since day one. We'll start to transition her into her own bed for day sleeps soon....with the aim to have her sleeping in her own bed when she's two x
Jodi can I ask, how does she go with day sleeps, do you need to lay down with her to get her to sleep? That face paint is art in itself!
I still feed her to sleep Rhi although if I'm not here Daniel can get her to sleep (with a little extra back-rubbing encouragement). I like having the opportunity in my day to rest a little too - to lie with her and cuddle her and be still for a while. Most people would probably frown upon it but I have absolutely no concerns. x
So clever. (And fabulous photos as always).
Thanks Jodi, I can imagine it would be nice to have that chance to be still in the day with her, I doubt I would make it out of bed once she was asleep! Enjoy it while you can x
we've done the same with both children here and swear by it.
Poet, where did all that hair come from?! Gorgeous babies you have Jodi xx
These two are two of your 52 best. Friends of mine were at Bassie's party - they were probably the two wild ones climbing trees :-) Again, I see Daniel in Poet. X
Beautiful pictures and beautiful children : ). Xx
Che looks so brave as a Tiger and don't even start me on Poet's wispy curls!
Poet's curls are too adorable.
Every week I think the photos are my favourite…until the next set come along! They are so beautiful as always Jodi. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog by the way…you are too sweet. C xo
Jodi, I love your blog so much. Just wondering, have I missed your post about establishing yourself as a freelancer? I've tried to search but I can't find it . So sorry to be a nag...
I haven't written it yet Claire...sorry! I promise it will be on the blog sometime in November x
Thank you for the speedy reply. I just don't want to miss it. Please don't apologise. What you do write and post here gives me so much joy!
I think these are two of my favourites. But I think that every week. Poet is growing so fast! And that face paint is amazing! My five year old to be loves face paint that much she wants to be a face painter when she grows up, she recently transformed onto a lady bud :)
Beautiful babes, Jodi! And, Poet's room looks just lovely, I would love to see some more shots of it! Che looks very much like a little man!
Wow, they really are growing up fast. Just shows how precious these weekly portraits are :)
That's a much better face-paint job than I ever have seen for a birthday party. When we had school carnivals and things I can remember very simple hearts, balloons, and peace signs were often what we could choose from. His tiger face looks fantastic.Poet's curls... darling. My best, Jo Farmer
One of the mums is an incredibly talented makeup/body art artist (she travels to Paris every year for work). Needless to say the face painting was very professional! x
such soft sweet curls jodi. they really are growing up quickly and thank you for your kind words and popping over to say hi! x
that was me above jodie. happy sunday ... sarah x
What beautiful photos! I love the lion face painted picture - simply beautiful !
Oh such beautiful curls. That tiger looks pretty cute too.
the sweetest, gentlest tiger I've ever seen! have a sweet week :)sarah
I love poet's pic!
So very sweet Jodi. They grow so quickly. You blink and that darling baby chubbiness has made way for long, lean and lanky, (although I still like to bundle them up into a cradled position, ignoring the giggling protests.)
Gorgeous kiddies. Face painting is awesome and those curls are sooo cute. Love her big girls room, very sweet for such a little cutie:) nx
beautiful Jodi! x
Gorgeous little ones. I have a teeth grinder too!! xx
