I'm just reading back over your blog and saw the post on your bike! I had a 1979 Honda CB250 and I loved that bike. It was good for getting around the city but if you took it further afield...ouch! Some of my coldest moments have been on a bike - there's nothing like that wind chill factor..not to mention rain. I still miss it, especially the sound of the gears shifting just before you take off - ahh freedom. I gave my beautiful bike jacket away but if I still had it it would be yours - enjoy!!
What a beautiful and precious memory. The photos are delightful.
We have been playing with red and gold leaves from a Liquid Amber today. The air was damp, so they would only go swish, swish rather than crunch. The boys chose special ones to bring home.
Aaaaaaaw...
