I have a very full, busy house, so I feel like I am always cleaning.
I borrowed Mirka Mora's biography - kind of like a dream journal - from Kinnie library. It's one of my fav books and I worked very hard to resist buying it the one time I saw it in a Sydney book store. Eeek. Too many art books that I've borrowed but just loved and want to own.katiecrackernutshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11731006032499344619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7422372995850609269.post-32737075238897280132008-10-13T03:50:00.000-07:002008-10-13T03:50:00.000-07:00Well said! It also struck a chord with me as I'm doing a bit of a clean-up around here.
You've affirmed for me that yes, I should keep those little bits and pieces that make me feel happy. thanks :)Bird Bathhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03918396655766734244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7422372995850609269.post-56564360566825757122008-10-13T03:07:00.000-07:002008-10-13T03:07:00.000-07:00I like to think of the stuff in my home as "o...I like to think of the stuff in my home as "organised clutter", although with these pesky boys around, it becomes disorganised very quickly! I too find it hard not to adorn an empty space, I see an empty corner and think, hmm, I could put another chair there. It's funny, but when other people enter my home, they always say it feels cosy and inviting. I guess we all like some kind of clutter after all.emmahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15948613580374185665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7422372995850609269.post-18505275068330558382008-10-12T05:02:00.000-07:002008-10-12T05:02:00.000-07:00Thank you. So timely for me as I have been, am still in, a major de-cluttering process at our place and it is the memories and emotion attached to "things" that keeps me "stuck" to them... but as you describe, some clutter is to cherish. Lovely, lovely post.mellimoomoohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03264440929071046671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7422372995850609269.post-35047459583622267472008-10-11T08:30:00.000-07:002008-10-11T08:30:00.000-07:00oooh! I have been de-cluttering our summer clothes in preparation for Winter and like you have been thinking a lot about clutter and what it means. I love your positive take on it. My windowsills are filled with "memories" as well.Madelinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05075400838213199585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7422372995850609269.post-80099513917011353492008-10-11T03:02:00.000-07:002008-10-11T03:02:00.000-07:00Yes, a very lovely post.
